Case One: Entitlement Unclear After Early Retirement

The Situation

A client who had taken early retirement from a provincial government role was uncertain whether she was receiving the correct pension amount. Documents she had been sent were inconsistent and no one at the relevant office had provided a satisfactory explanation.

Our Approach

We conducted an Initial Pension Review, examining her full employment record and pension documents. We identified a calculation error affecting the base entitlement and prepared a formal written query to the pension authority on her behalf.

Outcome

The authority acknowledged the error and adjusted the monthly payment accordingly. The correction was applied from the following payment cycle. Total engagement: approximately six weeks.

Case Two: Claim Refused Without Clear Reason
